The stories we tell ourselves create emotional fortitude or overwhelm.
Internal narratives can also trap us in a world of fantasy and ‘what ifs’ keeping us from showing up fully in the present.
Observe your thoughts and notice which stories you pour energy into. Those stories are the ones creating your feelings of progress or stagnation.
Try this when you catch yourself in the story:

Once you become aware of it, with practice and time the charge will lessen. This is because you are learning to train your thought process into new ways of being that actually support who you are becoming.
