August 8th is also known as the Lions Gate, it is a threshold where we enter into a new phase, new energies and new possibilities! 

This threshold anchors the new ways of being you have been exploring the last few months, your decision making processes, and specific ways in which life wants to flow through you. 

It's been an intense ride with all the eclipses and the ‘quickening’ we've been experiencing-- a time where all areas where we are not in our power are being shown to us in full light. 

Take a moment to look back at the last 7 months and see what your greatest challenges have been, where life was inviting you to step in more fully; where you were being asked to take a bold and courageous stand in order to be in alignment with your refined frequency, values and dreams. 
As we step into this new threshold the theme is that of FIRE. The element of fire is fully supporting us right now. Not a destructive fire but the very flame of creation that has allowed humans to evolve on this planet. 

I am feeling this fire as the fire with which we prepare a hearty meal. We have been working hard gathering all the right ingredients within ourselves and now is the time to put it all together and make a wonderful, tasty, indulgent feast of it. 

The mantra for this period is “I am splendid, like a thousand suns I blaze my light.”

If you allow it, this portal will burn off the excess heaviness that is still holding you hostage from your own power, beauty and self expression.

Recommended Practice:
On August 8th create a fire (this can also be a candle). 
Speak into the fire any aspects, patterns or qualities that you wish to transmute. If you write them down you can burn the paper, knowing that whatever doesn’t serve you now goes back to this divine fire to be refined. 

Then, pray, chant, or dance! Feel into all the new ways in which you intend to show up moving forward. Feel your inner LIONESS arise. Invoke her. Spend some time with her. 
How will your lioness show up? 
How will she respond when she knows something is out of alignment? 
How does your lioness feel most loved and tended to? 
How does your lioness feel most adorned and filled with vitality? Whatever that is, do more of it! 
This is a time to shine, to be loud if you must, to stand in what is true for you, to share your ideas and to feel good in your body! 

On this day pay homage to the Sacred Earth and her fire, the core that sustains life and from whose womb all is birthed. To Divine Mother whose endless mercy is a cloak of living light that protects us at all times and holds us to our highest light, especially when we ourselves cannot see it. To the mighty Sun whose blazing rays are filled with light information that inform our cells and nurture our days. To the ones who walked these lands before us and the ones yet to come. May we leave this place more filled with eternal love and embodied harmony.

FEEL that. 
KNOW that. 
TRUST that. 
Be lifted by that.

It is your birthright to conjure it, to live it and to share it by the willingness to forgive the ways in which you've betrayed it, in which you still hide it and in which you allow others to abuse it. 
Patiently it waits for the embrace of your awareness, for the coded touch of your loving presence. So that it may entrust you with its power of remembrance and unfurl you into revelation of your ultimate Soul Dance.
