That which is deeply personal and shared in authenticity is a thread of universal truth. Its resonance builds a momentum in which you unknowingly give another permission to voice theirs, and the web of change strengthens. This applies to ALL issues facing humanity today. If you think you are above all these ‘victim stories’ and have all the answers and strategies, we congratulate you, and still this does not make it okay to tell someone else to get over their pain, or to minimize the validity of their experience because what about this other issue or this other suffering? All suffering has merit and is worthy of conversation and yet, we all hold a different but similar thread in the tapestry of pain that we must honor. The Angry Sister/ Dismissive Mother archetype runs through all of us, it’s very palpable at times like these where shifts of energy disrupt the norm. Wherever dissolution of old contracts is on the horizon, this archetype is sure to make an appearance. It’s what lured us into the ‘boys club’ with its false sense of security, of protection and acceptance. In its attempt to protect us, through its distorted filter, it will do anything to pigeon hole us into the system we know. We must not forget or underestimate its power to shape shift in order to stay alive. This archetype too is in pain, so much so, that in order to survive it clings to a mimetic sense of safety. It may range in magnitude and expression but at its core, it is blind to its rage, it is disembodied, fragmented, deep down it feels very afraid and lonely. It has created an intricate facade of false self-empowerment, dismissing pain by addressing other issues than the one at hand. It can claim having transcended its humanity into the ‘light'. Their ‘numbing’ can be expressed as a ‘cool and collected’ superiority that actually seems alluring to many of us who yearn for stability. This archetype thrives in those who were not given space for their vulnerability and had to stuff down their emotions and concerns. (That’s pretty much most of us!) They were not given permission, so why should you have it. It's okay to be angry when we seem to be looping in our suffering. It's okay that we feel so frustrated at how long the process seems to take. It's okay to feel overwhelmed with all the injustices and pain in the world. It's okay to be afraid. It is not okay to attack others in their vulnerability, It's not okay to viciously bully and call this ‘holding them to their truth’. It's not okay to dismiss someones pain as ‘not as important as this other type of pain’. It is not okay to make them wrong for where they are at or what they are feeling. ALL pain is interrelated and interdependent. It's all from the same core. We all carry and hold a thread, as an individual and for the collective. Honor your thread and honor others’. All the work is ‘good work’ when it is sincere and being done from a self responsible desire. All threads carry their much needed collective medicine. When you feel the need to comment or rush someone's process, or share how they are not addressing this other kind of injustice… Try practicing curiosity instead of judging. Try being present with their pain and allowing it to touch your own. What is our thread? How can we allow someone else’s pain to move us deeper into the devotion of our own? Try heart-listening to their stories so that you may offer solace and true sisterhood. Presence is what’s needed, true witnessing creates a safe womb space where the pain can unravel and reveal the treasure hidden inside of it. There is nothing to fix right now, there are no action steps needed right now. That WILL come, it is inevitable. But the most delicate and tender part of the process is to be WITH it, to let it speak, to allow it to breathe through the wound and let it feel heard and safe IN the body. What we don’t truly understand is that once we do this, the rest is a natural unfolding and byproduct. We are in full bloom in the Age of Deception and more than ever it is imperative that we appeal to our hearts, the grounding into the earth and the listening to our inner voice of prayer. There are no shortcuts. It's important that we sloooooow down in order to truly listen beneath the screaming noise of a dying world and that we give as much attention to our inner landscape as our outer reality. As we step up and step out, lets take the reins of our true power which is ALWAYS creative and life affirming. It is time to be bolder and rooted in the feminine principles of this awakening. To allow Shakti to lead in its sustainable, organic and innately intelligent ways. It is time to stop being pale imitations of men and change how we perceive leadership so that it becomes more of a human undertaking which doesn’t require people to give up other vitally essential things in life. Evolution is inevitable, the rate of evolution is not up to any ONE. As you come to know yourself as the heroine of your life story and collect your fragmented parts, you become part of a larger journey. You discover your vital thread in the tapestry of Restoration. We are an agent, priestesses of something that is of infinite essence. Here, all the mighty streams and rivers merge into the great ocean of Shakti herself. - Anabel Vizcarra
